ORSTE “Optical” Dehumidifying Dryers provides the advantages of a consistent dew point and maximum energy efficiency. They combine the function of dehumidifying, drying and two-stage conveying into one compact machine, specified for the production of “optical class” and “food standard” products, such as lens, LGP, disposable lunch box etc. The quality desiccant honeycomb rotor provides continuous and constant low dew-point air which can be lower than -40 oC under ideal conditions.

The above part is a dust collector, it is an important part for the machine if there is much dust in the plastic materials. It can remove most of the dust like substance in the plastic and greatly improve the service lifespan of the machine.
The above part is an oil removing device. If the plastic material contains some oil-like substance, the oil-like substance can go back to the honeycomb rotor which can block the holes in it. Then the drying effect and performance of the machine will be reduced a lot. So in this circumtance, the oil removing device is needed.
Matters Needing Attention
Electrical installation of the machine should be done by qualified electricians.
Before connecting to AC Power Source, turn power switch to OFF position. While AC power source is connected, make sure specifications and overload protection rating of the power switch are suitable and reliable. When the machine is under care or maintenance, turn off both power switch and automatic operation switch.
Dehumidifying Dryers are designed to eliminate moisture in the plastic material before processing. Air is forced through a desiccant bed to make it extremely dry. This air is then heated to a specified temperature and fed into a Drying Hopper containing the material to be dried. This hot dry air draws the moisture out of the material; the saturated air is then fed out of the Drying Hopper and back through the desiccant bed again to remove the moisture before the cycle begins again. This desiccant has a limited ability to hold moisture before it needs to be regenerated (dried out). Typically, plastics processors use regenerative or twin tower dryers and in this case, when the desiccant bed has reached its moisture retaining capacity the airflow is automatically switched to the second desiccant bed to allow the drying process to continue. At the same time, the first desiccant bed is regenerated by heating to remove moisture, allowed to cool and it is then ready to absorb moisture again.
