OCR closed-loop crystallizers are used for constant crystallization of un-crystallized PET regrinds or pellets. Processed materials can then be dried and dehumidified directly. This system mainly consists of heating elements, insulated hopper and agitator screw mixing device. After un-crystallized PET materials fed into the hopper, the system starts crystallization and agitator starts blending to prevent formation in lumps. Crystallized materials can be conveyed to material storage bin or into drying hopper.
Once material filling starts, heat blower starts up and material heating begins. Control cabinet would stop sending signals to auto loader when material filling amount is higher than material level switch. Then material heating lasts for a while. When temperature sensing needle detects the value of reaching the set crystallized temperature, material would be conveyed out via feeding device; meanwhile, as material level in hopper lowers gradually, filling device starts to supply the uncrystallized material accordingly to realize the continuous crystallization process.
When temperature sensing needle detects the temperature value of stopping material conveying, feeding device halts. If temperature rises again to reach the set crystallized temperature, feeding device will be activated to work so that the continuous crystallization process can be realized through this kind of circle.

Q&A
1. Why do we need a PET Crystallizer?
PET Crystallizer (also called PET crystallizing machine, PET crystallizing drying machine, PET crystallizing dryer) features in its uniquely designed structure. With high-torque motor mounting at the top of the machine, rotating rod with horizontally placed blades, it ensures the evely drying of the sticky un-crystallized PET or other plastic materials. While crystallizing the plastic pellet with hot air, the materials in the drying hopper is lightly stirred and are not possible to be blocked like in normal hopper dryers.
Even for the plastic materials which are not sticky, the application of PET crystallizer is better than normal plastic hopper dryers in the drying effect with less drying time required.
2. Do we need other machines to be used with a PET crystallizer?
Normally a vacuum auto loader (OAL or OAL-S) should be applied with PET crystallizer to convey the plastic material into the crystallizer automacticly, and load the dried material from the crystallizer to the other container or molding machine for production.
Honeycomb Dehumidifiers (ORD-H) are always suggested to be used to provide low dew-point dry air for the PET crystallizer, in this way, less drying and crystallizing time and good drying effect can be achieved.
3. Is the maintenance cost expensive?
ORSTE PET crystallizer features optimized structure and long service life with its good quality parts and excellent processing skills. No special comsumbles are required for the maintenance. Only fuses, electric contactors have to be replaced after 2-3 years running, regular checking for the air pipe, electric cables.
4. How to clean the PET crystallizer when we want to change drying materials?
An compressed air gun is suggested to blow the dust in the inner wall of the drying hopper, a white clean cloth with white oil is always used to wipe the wall after blowing by air gun. We don't suggest to clean the machine by water, especially for the electric parts.
There is not dead angle in the drying hopper and other material contact surface, no need to worry about the material residual.
1) Connect the power supply: connect the three-phase power and open the main power switch, and then, the power indicator in the control panel is blinking and shows the power is on. If there is converse-alarm, please cut off the power supply, and change either two of the three live wires. Then, follow the foregoing instructions, redo the operations.
2) Press “On/Off Button” and turn on “Agitator running switch”, the system goes into the working condition. After the temperature controller indicates the power on, agitator begins to work.
3) The running speed of Agitator can be set in the “Inverter”, by pressing “UP” and “DOWN” button to set the running speed of the agitator, maximum speed is 50 rpm.
4) Before stopping the crystallizer, please turn off the material suction motor (auto loader is optional) first. Discharging materials only after they are crystallized.
